Thank you to the ladies that helped us, we are from Queensland so we had very little idea about the area however we had an awsome time exploring the area. We are now planning a trip to this Cowes, instead of stopping as we pass through on our way to see the penguins.There is parking metres from the front door for cars/ 4x4's larger vehicles like busses and caravan parking is available in a spacious drive through area just behind the building.The friendly volunteers assisted us with information on so many activities in the region plus information on many other towns we were curious about visiting or might like to see on our travels. We got a lot of very useful information to help us.The visitor information centre has all the usual maps, information about local events and tourist attractions.The toilet facilities in this complex are very good and appear to be well maintained.
